Introduction

Hi, I’m Sasha.

Growing up between different cultures taught me early on that people are rarely as simple as the labels we give them. We are shaped by where we come from, the people we meet, the relationships we have, and the experiences we carry with us. Perhaps because of that, I’ve always been curious about what sits beneath the surface of a person.

I also didn’t become a psychologist because life has always made sense to me. Quite the opposite.

I know what it’s like to go through periods where you lose your footing. I’ve experienced difficult relationships, anxiety, depression, addiction, and the confusion that can come from dealing with unhealthy or narcissistic dynamics. There were times when I felt very much on my own and had to find my way through without the support I probably needed.

Those experiences are part of the reason I chose this work. I wanted to become the kind of person I would have needed during those chapters of my own life: someone you can speak openly with, without feeling judged. That is also how I try to show up in the therapy room. I’m warm and open, but I’ll also be honest with you. I’ll listen carefully, ask questions, notice patterns with you, and sometimes gently challenge you when I think it could help. There is space for difficult conversations, but also for humour and lightness. Therapy doesn’t have to feel clinical to be meaningful.

Most importantly, I don’t see my role as fixing you or telling you how to live your life. I see it as getting alongside you for a while, helping you understand yourself more clearly, make sense of what you’ve been carrying, and recognise patterns that may no longer be serving you.

Sometimes we need someone beside us while we find our way back to ourselves.

About my approach

My approach combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy, allowing us to look at both what is happening for you now and the experiences that may have shaped how you think, feel, and respond.

Together, we explore patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours with curiosity and without judgement. We may look at unhelpful ways of thinking or responding and find practical ways to approach situations differently. At the same time, we can explore where certain patterns may have come from, including earlier experiences and relationships that continue to influence you today.

Sessions are a combination of conversation, reflection, and practical strategies. Depending on what you need, we may focus on developing greater self-awareness, understanding the roots of certain difficulties, challenging patterns that no longer serve you, and finding healthier ways of moving forward.

My aim is to offer a space where you feel listened to and understood, while also helping you make meaningful and lasting changes in your everyday life.
